Naked Cakes offers cakes and related products, including naked cakes, semi-naked cakes, same-day eligible cakes, custom cake requests, and other cake products that may be made available on this website from time to time.
We make reasonable efforts to display product images, descriptions, sizing information, flavours, finishes, prices, availability, and delivery-related details accurately. However, product colours, appearance, packaging, decoration, size perception, and presentation may differ from how they appear on your screen due to lighting, photography, device settings, product preparation, ingredient availability, and natural variation in handmade or finished food products.
Product descriptions, images, prices, availability, ingredients, flavours, sizes, designs, delivery eligibility, and product contents are subject to change at any time without notice at our discretion.
Cakes are perishable, fragile, and presentation-sensitive products. While we make reasonable efforts to prepare and handle cakes carefully, customers acknowledge that cakes require appropriate handling, timely receipt, careful storage, and proper serving conditions after pickup or delivery.
Section 3 - Product Substitutions and Variations
Because cakes may include seasonal ingredients, fresh fruit, florals, decorative items, packaging materials, specialty ingredients, or other perishable or limited-availability components, substitutions may be made when necessary.
When substitutions are made, we aim to maintain the overall design intent, size, colour palette, value, and presentation of the selected product where reasonably possible. Substitutions may include changes to fruit, florals, decorative details, finishes, packaging, or other components.
Product images are intended to represent the general style and presentation of a product. Each cake may vary due to preparation, finishing, ingredient availability, customization options, and the nature of handmade or perishable products.
Section 4 - Customization and Cake Messages
Some products may allow customization, including cake messages, flavour selections, size selections, colour preferences, finish preferences, decoration requests, or other available options. Customization options are subject to availability, production capacity, order timing, product type, and delivery or pickup timing.
We may decline, modify, or request clarification on customization requests that are not feasible, are submitted too late, conflict with product limitations, contain inappropriate content, or cannot be completed within available preparation or delivery timelines.
Customers are responsible for reviewing all custom text, cake messages, spelling, dates, names, delivery details, and order instructions before submitting an order. We are not responsible for errors submitted by the customer or buyer unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Section 5 - Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products and services. Naked Cakes reserves the right to accept or decline any order for any reason at its discretion, including product availability, delivery availability, payment issues, suspected fraud, incorrect information, operational capacity, or inability to fulfill the requested order.
Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance. We must receive and process payment before an order is accepted or fulfilled.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Naked Cakes may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests, delivery changes, pickup changes, address changes, product changes, message changes, or customization changes after an order is accepted or once preparation, fulfillment, or delivery coordination has begun.
We may contact you through the support methods available on this website or using the contact information provided with your order if additional information is needed to process, prepare, deliver, or support your order.
Section 6 - Recipient Information and Delivery Instructions
If you place an order for delivery to another person, you are responsible for providing accurate recipient information, including the recipient’s name, phone number, delivery address, company or building details, unit or suite number, access instructions, delivery instructions, and any other information needed to fulfill the order.
You represent that you have the right to provide recipient information and any gift-message or delivery-note information submitted with the order.
Incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible delivery information may result in delays, failed delivery, redelivery fees, order cancellation, or product loss. Because cakes are perishable and fragile, failed delivery or recipient unavailability may affect the condition, presentation, or availability of the product.
Section 7 - Prices and Billing
Prices, discounts, promotions, delivery fees, service fees, and other charges are subject to change without notice. Unless otherwise expressly stated, posted prices do not include applicable taxes, delivery fees, service fees, handling fees, or other applicable charges.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order, including products, taxes, delivery fees, service fees, and any other applicable charges.
If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise not completed, we may delay, cancel, or refuse the order.
Section 8 - Delivery, Pickup, and Service Area
Naked Cakes provides local cake delivery and pickup options where available. Delivery may be available across Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, and nearby Lower Mainland communities, subject to product availability, delivery address, delivery date, order timing, delivery capacity, and checkout confirmation.
Delivery dates, delivery windows, pickup times, same-day availability, and estimated delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Naked Cakes.
We are not liable for delivery or pickup delays caused by couriers, delivery partners, traffic, weather, road conditions, building access issues, elevator or concierge delays, incorrect or incomplete delivery information, recipient unavailability, unsafe delivery conditions, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers and recipients are responsible for being available to receive a cake delivery where required. Cakes should be received, stored, and handled promptly after delivery or pickup.
Section 9 - Same-Day Delivery
Same-day delivery may be available only for select products, dates, delivery areas, and order times. Same-day availability depends on the selected cake, daily cutoff, preparation capacity, delivery address, delivery partner availability, and checkout confirmation.
Not all cakes, custom requests, flavours, sizes, finishes, or delivery addresses qualify for same-day delivery. Same-day product options may be more limited than scheduled or custom order options.
We reserve the right to decline or modify same-day orders that cannot be reasonably prepared, completed, or delivered within available timing and capacity.
Section 10 - Perishable Product Handling
Cakes are perishable, fragile, and sensitive to temperature, time, movement, and handling. After pickup or delivery, customers and recipients are responsible for proper storage, timely refrigeration where appropriate, safe handling, and following any care instructions provided.
We are not responsible for product deterioration, damage, melting, shifting, drying, spoilage, or presentation issues that occur after successful pickup or delivery due to delayed receipt, improper storage, mishandling, exposure to heat, travel after receipt, or failure to follow care instructions.
Section 11 - Third-Party Delivery Platforms
Naked Cakes may be available through third-party delivery or ordering platforms, such as Uber Eats or DoorDash, in select local delivery areas. Orders placed through third-party platforms may be subject to the terms, pricing, fees, delivery rules, privacy practices, cancellation rules, refund processes, and customer support procedures of those platforms.
If you place an order through a third-party delivery platform, tracking, courier updates, delivery issues, refunds, cancellations, or platform-specific support may need to be handled through that platform.
Section 12 - Alcohol and Restricted Products
Naked Cakes does not offer alcohol or regulated alcoholic products through this website unless expressly stated otherwise on a product page or checkout page.
If any regulated, restricted, or age-restricted product is made available in the future, additional requirements may apply, including age verification, recipient eligibility, delivery restrictions, and compliance with applicable laws.
Section 13 - Intellectual Property

However, any sales and purchases you make through this website are made directly with Naked Cakes, unless an order is placed through a third-party platform governed by that platform’s own terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Naked Cakes and its affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, service providers, suppliers, licensors, fulfillment providers, delivery partners, and technology providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for losses or damages arising from delivery delays, failed delivery due to incorrect or incomplete information, recipient unavailability, mishandling after delivery or pickup, improper storage, weather, traffic, building access issues, third-party platform issues, payment processor issues, courier issues, website interruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Section 24 - Indemnification
