Overview

Naked Cakes provides local delivery and pickup for cake orders across Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, and nearby Lower Mainland communities where available. Delivery availability is confirmed during ordering or checkout based on the recipient’s address, selected cake, requested date, order timing, and delivery capacity.

Cakes are perishable, fragile, time-sensitive, and presentation-sensitive. We prepare and coordinate orders based on product eligibility, delivery area, recipient information, pickup or delivery requirements, and operational capacity.

Available delivery options, pickup options, delivery fees, and estimated delivery dates or windows are shown during ordering or checkout where applicable.

Order Processing

Orders begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed. Customers requesting an address correction, order change, message change, pickup update, cancellation, or other adjustment should contact customer support as early as possible.

Once preparation, customization, fulfillment, pickup coordination, or delivery coordination has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

During peak periods, holidays, weekends, or high-volume dates, additional notice may be required and order changes may not be available.

Delivery Timing

Naked Cakes offers local cake delivery where available. Select cake designs may be available for same-day local delivery when ordered before the applicable cutoff and when delivery capacity is available.

Delivery dates, delivery windows, pickup times, same-day availability, and estimated delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Naked Cakes.

Exact delivery timing may vary due to routing, traffic, weather, order volume, recipient availability, building access, security procedures, courier or delivery partner availability, and operational capacity.

Residential deliveries may occur throughout the available delivery window. Business, office, institutional, and managed-property deliveries are generally attempted during standard business hours where possible.

Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery may be available only for select cakes, dates, delivery areas, and order times. Same-day availability depends on the selected cake, daily cutoff, preparation capacity, delivery address, delivery partner availability, and checkout confirmation.

Not all cakes, custom requests, flavours, sizes, finishes, or delivery addresses qualify for same-day delivery. Same-day product options may be more limited than scheduled or custom order options.

Once a same-day order has been accepted, preparation or delivery coordination may begin quickly. Cancellations, product changes, address changes, message changes, or timing requests cannot be guaranteed.

Delivery Completion

Deliveries do not require a signature unless otherwise stated or required due to the delivery location, delivery partner requirements, building rules, product handling requirements, or other applicable delivery conditions.

Orders may be delivered directly to the recipient or left with a building representative, concierge, reception desk, security desk, front desk, mailroom, loading area, lobby, or other building-approved receiving point where appropriate.

Once proof of delivery has been obtained, or the order has been accepted by the recipient, building representative, reception desk, concierge, security desk, front desk, mailroom, loading area, or other authorized receiving location, the order may be considered delivered.

Because cakes are perishable and presentation-sensitive, the recipient or receiving party should retrieve, store, and handle the order promptly after delivery.

Office, Building, and Managed Property Deliveries

Deliveries to offices, institutions, apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, gated communities, commercial buildings, and other managed properties may be completed through reception, mailroom, concierge, security, front desk, loading area, lobby, or another building-approved receiving point.

Customers are responsible for providing complete delivery details, including company name, recipient name, department, suite or unit number, buzzer code, recipient phone number, building instructions, delivery notes, and any access information needed for delivery.

Naked Cakes is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, product deterioration, loss, damage, or handling issues that occur because of incomplete building information, restricted access, building policies, security procedures, recipient unavailability, or delayed retrieval after delivery to a building-approved receiving point.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at the time an order is placed.

  • Address changes must be requested promptly after ordering and before preparation or delivery coordination begins.
  • Orders with incorrect or incomplete address information may be delayed, misdelivered, or undeliverable.
  • Missing suite numbers, unit numbers, buzzer codes, phone numbers, company names, or access instructions may prevent successful delivery.
  • Refunds, replacements, credits, or re-delivery may not be available for orders affected by customer-submitted address errors, incomplete recipient information, or incomplete delivery instructions.

Service Area Review

Some addresses within or near the edge of our service area may require additional review before fulfillment proceeds.

If an address requires additional delivery coordination, additional fees, modified timing, or support review, customer support may contact the purchaser before fulfillment continues.

If delivery cannot be completed to the address provided, the order may be modified, delayed, cancelled, converted to pickup where available, or treated as undeliverable depending on the circumstances.

Undeliverable Orders

Orders may be considered undeliverable when delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete address information, recipient unavailability, refused delivery, restricted access, unsafe conditions, unavailable delivery area, failed building access, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

  • Refunds may not be issued for undeliverable orders caused by customer or recipient circumstances.
  • Re-delivery may incur additional fees and is not guaranteed.
  • Because cakes are perishable and fragile, some orders may need to be remade before re-delivery, and additional product or preparation costs may apply.
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information remains the customer’s responsibility.

Pickup Orders

Pickup may be available for certain orders where offered. Customers should collect pickup orders at the selected or confirmed pickup time.

Once a pickup order has been received by the customer or an authorized pickup person, the customer is responsible for safe transport, timely storage, refrigeration where appropriate, and proper handling.

Naked Cakes is not responsible for damage, shifting, melting, deterioration, drying, spoilage, or presentation issues that occur after a pickup order has been received.

Perishable and Time-Sensitive Products

Cakes are perishable, fragile, temperature-sensitive, and time-sensitive products. They are selected, prepared, finished, packaged, and coordinated with local delivery or pickup timing in mind.

After delivery or pickup, cakes should be handled carefully and stored according to any care instructions provided. Delayed retrieval, improper storage, exposure to heat, travel after receipt, rough handling, or failure to follow care instructions may affect product condition and presentation.

Naked Cakes is not responsible for product deterioration, damage, melting, shifting, drying, spoilage, or presentation issues that occur after successful delivery or pickup due to handling, storage, timing, or conditions outside our control.

Substitutions

Because cakes may include fresh fruit, florals, fillings, buttercream finishes, decorative items, packaging materials, seasonal ingredients, or specialty components, substitutions may occasionally be necessary.

When substitutions are made, Naked Cakes aims to maintain the overall design intent, size, colour palette, value, and presentation of the selected product where reasonably possible.

Due to product availability, delivery timing, same-day order timing, and order volume, customers may not always be contacted in advance regarding substitutions.

Alcohol and Regulated Products

Naked Cakes does not offer alcohol or regulated alcoholic products through this website unless expressly stated otherwise on a product page or checkout page.

If any regulated, restricted, or age-restricted item is made available in the future, additional requirements may apply, including recipient eligibility, age verification, delivery restrictions, and compliance with applicable law.

Third-Party Delivery Platforms

Naked Cakes may be available through third-party delivery or ordering platforms in select local delivery areas. Orders placed through third-party platforms may be subject to the delivery terms, cancellation rules, refund processes, fees, courier tracking, and customer support procedures of those platforms.

If an order is placed through a third-party delivery platform, tracking, courier updates, delivery issues, cancellations, refunds, or platform-specific support may need to be handled through that platform.

External Factors

Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, traffic, road closures, accidents, courier or delivery partner disruptions, labour disruptions, public emergencies, holidays, building access restrictions, security procedures, technology outages, or operational disruptions.

Naked Cakes is not responsible for refunds, replacements, credits, delays, failed delivery attempts, non-delivery, or product deterioration caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Order Tracking

For existing orders, customers may use the order tracking page or order tracking widget where available to check the latest order status.

Tracking information may update closer to the scheduled pickup or delivery window. If tracking information is unavailable, delayed, or unclear, customers may contact support through the support options listed on this website.
